First event hosted by the Association to celebrate the festivities of San Giovanni (St. John), patron saint of the city of Florence, where our members presented displays in their shop windows dedicated to the Saint. What made this event unique is the fact that each member, in preparing their display, relied on one or more products made available by other members. The event was sponsored by the Municipality of Florence and was introduced in a press conference at Palazzo Vecchio by Dr. Sara Biagiotti, Councillor for Economic Development. The event was promoted using a special poster displayed in the windows of the Association members.
